Sunny Singapore may not be a winter country but that doesn’t mean that you can’t see snow! Head down to Snow City that is located in Jurong and be transported to a winter wonderland that features snowfalls and a bumper car arena.

How to get there:


By train:

  1. Take the red or green line and get off at Jurong East MRT Station 

  2. Walk for 10 minutes or take buses number 335 or 66 and get off at S'pore Science Ctr (Bus Stop Code.: B28261)

2. Trick Eye Museum

Snap some funny pictures at the trick eye museum over the weekend. Featuring fascinating optical illusions in 6 themed zones, be part of the artwork when you get creative with your poses.

How to get there:


By train:

  1. Take the circle or purple line and get off at Harbourfront MRT Station

  2. Walk to VivoCity and take the Sentosa Boardwalk

  3. Walk for 15 minutes to get to your destination 

By bus:

  1. Take buses 65, 80, 93, 188, 855, 10, 30, 97, 100, 131, 143, 145, 166 and get off at VivoCity 

  2. Take bus RWS8 from Harbourfront Stn/VivoCity (Bus Stop Code: 14141).

  3. Get off at Resort World Sentosa drop-off point

  4. Enter through The Forum and turn left to take the escalator up to Level 1

  5. Turn left and walk along the shops “Candylicious and Din Tai Fung”. 

  6. Turn and the restaurant “Insadong Korean restaurant” would be on your right 

  7. Walk straight for 3 minutes and you will see the Trick Eye Museum

3. Merlion

4. Universal Studios Singapore


Sit on twisting rollercoasters and scream out loud when you take on the rides at this amusement park. Be sure to sit on the 4D Transformers rides and watch a simulation of a hurricane at one of the shows. There’s a lot to do at this attraction.

  1. Take the circle or purple line and get off at Harbourfront 

  2. Walk into VivoCity Mall and climb to Level 3 of the Mall 

  3. You will see the monorail entrance. 

  4. Entrance tickets cost $3 and you can use your Ez-link card Alternatively, you can take the Sentosa Boardwalk to get there for free

5. Jurong Bird Park

Head down to Jurong Bird Park and enjoy an afternoon of wildlife. Explore the different zones and watch the beautiful birds in action. You might even get a chance to interact with colorful parrots and eagles while you are here.
